HARRISBURG: The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board will hold a public meeting at 11 a.m. on Tuesday February 28, 2006, in Hearing Room #1 of the North Office Building in the Capitol Complex in Harrisburg. The North Office Building is at the corner of North Street and Commonwealth Avenue.

The Board meeting regularly scheduled for Thursday March 2, 2006, has been canceled. The next regularly scheduled meeting of the PGCB is Thursday March 16, 2006, at 10 a.m. in Hearing Room #1 of the North Office Building.

HARRISBURG: The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board today voted unanimously to award licenses to six companies that filed applications to be manufacturers of slot machines and associated equipment.
All six licenses are subject to a series of 40 conditions set by the Board to ensure that the requirements of the Pennsylvania Race Horse Development and Gaming Act and Board regulations are met.

HARRISBURG: The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board today announced that it has received 24 application submissions for supplier licenses in the Commonwealth.

Potential suppliers were required to submit applications by a postmark deadline of Feb. 28, 2006.
A preliminary list of the applicants follows. The Board will update this list periodically as additional information becomes available.

HARRISBURG: To encourage maximum participation in its public-input hearings on proposed gaming facilities, the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board has extended the registration deadline for the hearings to Friday March 17, 2006, said Anne LaCour Neeb, Executive Director of the PGCB.

HARRISBURG: The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board today released an updated preliminary list of the entities and individuals who have submitted applications for licensure as part of the 24 applications submitted to the Board for licenses to be suppliers of gaming equipment in the Commonwealth.

The deadline for application submissions for this phase was Feb. 28, 2006.

HARRISBURG: Continuing its commitment to an open and transparent licensing process, the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board today announced that it has posted local-impact reports from 15 applicants for gaming licenses on its Web site, www.pgcb.state.pa.us. Reports from the remaining seven applicants will be posted by Friday March 10, 2006.

HARRISBURG: Continuing its effort to conduct an open and transparent licensing process, the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board today announced that it has completed the posting of local-impact reports from all 22 applicants for gaming licenses on its Web site, www.pgcb.state.pa.us.

HARRISBURG: The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board will hold its Thursday April 20, 2006, public meeting in Pittsburgh Chairman Tad Decker announced today. The meeting will begin at 10 a.m. at the Omni William Penn Hotel, 530 William Penn Place, Pittsburgh.

The public meeting will be held in conjunction with the Board’s previously announced public-input hearings in Pittsburgh on proposed gaming facilities in the region on Tuesday April 18 and Wednesday April 19, Decker added.

HARRISBURG: The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board today opened a 10-day public-comment period on draft regulations that will protect people with gaming-related problems or potential gaming-related problems by allowing them to exclude themselves from Pennsylvania gaming facilities.

The regulations would also give the Board the power to exclude individuals whose presence at a licensed gaming facility would be contrary to the interests of the Commonwealth.
