HARRISBURG, PA:  Revenue from table games play at Pennsylvania casinos was $55.9 million in November 2012, according to a report released today by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.  That represents an overall increase of 3.4% in gross revenue generated from the play of table games during November of this year compared to November of 2011.

HARRISBURG, PA: HSP Gaming, LP, operator of the SugarHouse Casino, agreed to fines totaling $15,000 for three incidents in which patrons gambled at the Philadelphia facility even though they were banned from entering and gambling in Commonwealth casinos.

The fines were the result of approvals today by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board of consent agreements between the PGCB’s Office of Enforcement Counsel and the casino license holder.

HARRISBURG, PA: The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board posted on its web site today the Local Impact Reports for each of the six applicants for Philadelphia’s second casino license.

In addition to the Local Impact Reports, the Board also posted an Ownership Structure report to list the proposed ownership for each of the Philadelphia applicants, along with a list of Registered Professional Representatives, such as attorneys and lobbyists, for each applicant.

HARRISBURG, PA: The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board announced today that it received six applications for the available Category 2 Slot Machine Operator license prior to the close of the application period on Thursday. The Pennsylvania Race Horse Development and Gaming Act mandates that this license be awarded to an applicant that would place the facility in the City of Philadelphia.

A Category 2 stand-alone license enables the casino operator to have up to 5,000 slot machines and 250 tables games.
