HARRISBURG, PA:  Revenue from table games play at the 12 Pennsylvania casinos was $57.1 million in September 2013, according to a report released today by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.  That represents a 3.6% decrease in revenue from table games play during September of this year compared to September of 2012.

HARRISBURG, PA: The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board posted on its web site today the monthly report for total revenue generated from the play of slot machines at casinos during September.

According to the report, September gross revenue from slot machines, at the 12 operating casinos, was $187,803,113 or 6.3% lower when compared to the $200,465,589 in gross revenue generated in September 2012. Tax revenue in September of this year was $100,658,385. 

HARRISBURG, PA: The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board's 2012-2013 Annual Report is now available in electronic format and can be downloaded by visiting the Gaming Control Board's web site, www.gamingcontrolboard.pa.gov.

The report includes statistical charts on gaming revenue and employment statewide along with similar statistics for each of the twelve casinos in operation. Reports from all of the PGCB's key bureaus are also included in the report along with a video message from Chairman William H. Ryan, Jr.

HARRISBURG: The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board today announced that public hearings to determine the eligibility and suitability of the six applicants vying for the remaining Category 2 license to operate a casino in the City of Philadelphia will be held January 28, 29, and 30, 2014.

The six hearings will begin each day at 9:00 a.m. and be held in Room 114 of the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia. The order of appearance before the Board will be determined at a later date. 

HARRISBURG: The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board today announced that it would hold a public hearing on Tuesday, October 15, 2013 to gather evidence, including public comment, on the renewal of the casino license of Sands Bethworks, LLC, operator of Sands Casino Resort Bethlehem in Northampton County.

The hearing will begin at 10:00 a.m. at the Bethlehem Town Hall located at 10 E. Church Street in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.

HARRISBURG, PA: The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board on Wednesday levied fines totaling $68,000 against two casinos and one vendor.

The fines were the result of consent agreements between the PGCB's Office of Enforcement Counsel and the casino license holders and vendor which were approved by the Board at its public meeting in Harrisburg.

HARRISBURG, PA: Revenue from table games play at the 12 Pennsylvania casinos was $63.5 million in August 2013, according to a report released today by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board. That represented a 6.1% increase in revenue from table games play during August of this year compared to August of 2012.

The monthly report, posted on the Board's web site, www.gamingcontrolboard.pa.gov, also shows $9.1 million in tax revenue was generated from table games this August.

HARRISBURG, PA: The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board reported on its web site today that August gross revenue from slot machine play at the 12 operating casinos was $205,374,891 and generated $109,977,203 of tax revenue to the Commonwealth.

That gross revenue amount was 2.5% lower than revenue generated from slot machines in August 2012 when revenue hit $210,584,315.
